The process of application began on 23rd August and concluded on 20th September, the candidates had the opportunity to submit their applications through the official website for the examination and now the WBPSC Food SI exam is scheduled to be held on 16th and 17th of March 2024, this exam is being conducted on the state level and has a total number of 480 vacancies for the post of Food Sub Inspector in the Subordinate Food & Supplies service.
How to Download WBPSC Food SI Admit Card 2024.
Here are the steps for downloading the admit card, it is very easy to download an admit card:
- Go to the WBPSC’s official website (https://psc.wb.gov.in/).
- If you are user, sign in using your ID.
- Go to search icon and search for a ‘Candidate’s Corner’ labelled section on the homepage.
- Under it, click on ‘Download Admit Card’.
- Then look for the ‘Food SI exam admir card 2024’ link.
- Click on the link and then you will be redirected to home page.
- Enter you application and fill out the necessary details.
- After entering the details, click on the submit/ login button.
- Your admit card will be displayed on the screen, carefully review all the details

WBPSC Food SI 2024 selection process and exam pattern.
The candidates must be aware about the exam scheme and selection process before the application, but they can also confirm it to avoid confusion for the examination.
Food SI selection process will be done in two parts: written examination and interview process.
Written examination have a fixed cutoff, candidates must score above the cut-off to qualify for next stage and interview will be done to evaluate their personality, communication skills, problem solving abilities and overall suitability for the role of Food Sub Inspector.
The exam will only consist of MCQ’s and there are 100 questions for each: Arithmetic and General Studies, each question carrying one mark each.
The candidates will be given the time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the examination and also there will be negative marking of 1/3 for every wrong answer.
