RPF Notification 2024 is out.

Those who are seeking jobs for the post of SI ( Sub Inspector) and Constable under the Railway Protection Force, need to know that official circular for recruitment drive is released on 26th february. All the applicants can easily apply on Railway Protection Force official website.

RPF Vacancy and Eligibility Criteria 2024

Total number of vacancies for the post Constable and Sub Inspector is now officially disclosed by RPF, that is, 4208 for constables and 452 for Sub Inspector ( SI )

Eligibility criteria for 2024 based on educational qualification and age limit.

Educational Qualifications for SI, one must have a bachelors degree from a UGC recognised universities and for Constables it is mandatory for the candidate to pass the Matriculation exam.
The age limit applying for SI must be atleast 20 years and should not exceed 25 years
And for Constable post applicants age must be below 18 and above 25 years. There will be age relaxations for OBC, ST/SC.

RPF SI syllabus for 2024

General Awareness, Arithmetic, and general intelligence, reasoning are the three major areas covered in RPF SI syllabus, it is applicable for both male and female applicants.

The exam will be conducted online and will be of 90 minutes with a total of 120 questions, every question of 1 mark each.

General Awareness – 50

General Awareness syllabus includes India’s geography, Art, Economics, India’s Polity Constitution, and General Sports Science.

Arithmetic – 35

Syllabus for Arithmetic includes basic maths till 10th standard : Number Systems, Whole numbers, Decimal&Fractions, Number’s & Properties, Arithmetical Operations, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit&Loss, Discount, Table& Graphs, Mensuration, Time& Distance

General Intelligence and Reasoning – 35

The syllabus includes Analogies, Spatial Visualisation, Judgement, Visual Memory, Decision Making, Concepts of Relationship, Observations, Arithmetical Reasoning, number series, verbal classification, non-verbal series, coding&decoding, syllogistic reasoning, problem solving and analysis, spatial orientation, similarities and differences.

RPF Constable Syllabus 2024

The syllabus and exam patter for RPF constables is same as RPF SI post.
Selection process for RPF SI and constables will be done on the basis of

• Computer Based test
• Physical Measurement and Efficiency test
• Document Verification

To apply online for the recruitment of constable or SI, an applicant have to pay the application fees of ₹500 using any online mode of payments UPI, Debit or credit card, Net banking.
Candidates who belong to SC/ST and extremely backward classes and females have to pay ₹250 only.
