What is NTA? And what had it released?
NTA is National Testing Agency which is a government agency for conducting examinations for higher educational studies. NTA is responsible for exams such as JEE, NEET, CUET, CMAT, GPAT, AIAPGET, UGC-NET.
Recently, NTA has released the most awaited information bulletin for NEET 2024. This gives a mind map to students to give their examination efficiently and get all the information easily and fast and a way to get into top most medical colleges in India.

As per the reports, this Information Bulletin contains all the important information for the candidates applying for the examination this year. We’ll explain to you each of them properly in this article..
Exam Pattern
According to the reports, the registration applications are started from 9th February. It has all the basic information on the examination and explained schedule for it.
Eligibility Criteria
The bulletin makes you understand about the eligibility criteria for the examination properly, The age of the candidate must be 17 to apply for the examination.
Applications Fees
The application process has an amount for registration fees which is as follows.

Exam Pattern
The Information bulletin also explains the exam pattern for the students to make it easy to prepare for the 3 hours long exam designed as –
each subject of the exam will consist of 2 sections with 35 questions and 15 questions ( though they’ll have internal choices ) respectively.
There will be negative marking of 1 marks for every wrong question. 4 marks for every correct answer.
Examination Center
Previously there were 499 cities selected as the examination center but now it is increased to 554. The candidate can choose 4 cities among these as their preferred center.
The information bulletin says “The NTA shall not be held responsible for any problems caused by the candidates’ wrong city selection. If the number of candidates choosing a city is less than a specific number, the NTA reserves the authority to combine one, two, or more localities”.
