Steps for online enrollment process for a new Voter ID?

1. Visit the Election Commission(EI) of India homepage, the official ID for voter registration.
2. The website has all the required information available about the election process in India.
3. There are a number of forms, based on the service you want to avail.
4. You would have to select the ‘Form 6’ for the voter’s application.
5. To find the form, you have to visit the National Service Portal.
6. Under ‘Forms’ either download Form 6 or click on Form 6 to apply online if you are a resident of India.

Steps to apply for a Voter ID Card online.

1. After clicking on ‘Form 6’ and start filling out the form if you are a resident of India and ‘Form 6A’, if you are an NRI.
2. If you want to apply online then register yourself by signing up or if you are already registered provide your EPIC number and request for OTP.
3. After signing or logging in, Enter the details and upload the required documents.
4. Click on ‘Submit’.
5. After submitting, you will receive an email on your registered email address.

You will be able to track your voter Id application through this provided email which will direct you to a page and you should receive your Voter Id card in a month after your application.

• One passport-size photograph
• Identity proof such as a birth Certificate, passport, driving license or utility bill.

Step 1. First of all, go to the official website of the Election Commission https://voters.eci.gov.in/.

Step 2. Then click on the e-EPIC download button. *EPIC stands for (Electoral Photo Identity Card)

Step 3. Now enter your login details here and login to the voters.eci.gov.in (formerly NVSP) website.

Step 4. After this enter your EPIC Number or Form Reference Number.

Step 5. OTP will be sent to your registered number, enter it and verify it.

Step 6. Now click on the download button and download e-EPIC i.e. Voter ID.
